Position overview:
As a Retail Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the AVAD Baltic strategy and ensuring the profitable growth of Apple products within the Lithuanian market. Your role includes managing relationships with key retail partners, developing growth strategies, and carrying out tactical activities to achieve ambitious sales targets. Success in this position requires strong skills in influencing and collaboration, as well as thorough analytical abilities.
Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute a growth strategy in Lithuania with retail partners, focusing on Apple products. This includes setting sales targets, identifying growth opportunities, and monitoring market trends.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key retail partners to drive sales growth through regular meetings, presentations and negotiations.
Sales and Revenue Growth: Lead the sales process to achieve ambitious targets by collaborating with the partners to create and implement sales demand generation programmes.
Analysis and Reporting: Perform regular sales data analysis to assess the effectiveness of business strategies. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, using this information for setting future strategy and decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within the organisation to ensure smooth and effective sales process. This includes coordinating promotional activities, in-store initiatives, and ensuring exceptional customer experience both in-store and online.
Experience: Extensive experience in commercial, business development or account management role in a customer-centric environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
Skills: Excellent skills in strategic planning, negotiations, and presentation skills. Ability to analyse complex data and market trends to inform sales strategies. Fluency in English, both oral and written.
Knowledge: Understanding of the retail market, particularly in the Baltics region. Knowledge of Apple products and ecosystem (a great advantage).
Attributes: Highly collaborative with the ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic business environment and drive results towards ambitious sales targets.
